Since 2009, we’ve been serving-up seriously yummy eats, with our crave-able burgers and shareable sides earning Umami Burger a place among Los Angeles’ best restaurant lists and topping the nation’s best burger lists. We’ve since Umami-fied San Francisco, Chicago, and New York, expanding from our flagship L.A. restaurant. In early 2017, we opened our first international location, bringing yummy to the home of umami itself, Japan, and south of the border with locations in Mexico and the Bahamas, expanding to 26 locations spanning the globe.
With a new menu and new direction under our chief operating officer and James Beard Foundation’s Rising Star Chef award recipient, Nate Appleman, our goal is simple: to provide a better burger experience.
Umami Burger is proud to have raised over $100,000 for charity through our Artist Series. Launched in 2016, the Series partners with celebrities to showcase their culinary creativity and raise funds and awareness for their chosen charity.
