The Blended Burger Project is all about making burgers healthier and more sustainable for the planet by creating a blend with ground meat and chopped mushrooms. Chefs across the nation work with the James Beard Foundation to create their own take on the blended burger. This year, we decided to take on the challenge and created the Negroni BBQ Burger.
What’s in it?
A blended beef and mushroom patty.
Campari and cola bbq sauce.
Topped with a delicious kale slaw that includes kale, cabbage, green apple and diced bacon, all tossed in a bacon vinaigrette.
